Luís Antunes Pena will be giving a talk on recent research during his residency at Zürcher Hochschule der Künste - Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology (Zurich/Switzerland). [more info]

Luís Antunes Pena will be in residence with the group ruído vermelho at the www.studio-venezia.com, the french pavillon of the biennale venezia.

Luís Antunes Pena will be guest composer at Musik aktuell - Music Academy Donaueschingen. He will speak and present his work and particularly the piece Três Quadros Sobre Pedra [Three Pictures on Stone] for grant stones and electronics.

"Im Rauschen Rot" for double bass, percussion quartet and electronics received the 1st prize at the Salvatore Martirano Award, the composition contest of the University of Illinois 2013.

CD Production of "Winterlich ruhende Erde" for cello and a new piece for thirty different cymbals and electronics at ZKM | Karlsruhe. These recordings are going to be part of a CD to be released during 2012.

Luís Antunes Pena was recently appointed to teach Composition and Sound Interaction at the Staatliche Hochschule fuer Musik Trossingen.

Luís Antunes Pena was awarded with the Internationales Kuenstlerhaus Villa Concordia Grant for 2010/2011. A scholarship from the Bavarian State Ministry of Sciences, Research and the Arts in Bamberg. Villa Concordia Bamberg
