ambito

Programme Note

"ambito" is a piece about scales and about scales in scales. It deals with several movements in the whole register range of the intrument using specific horn technics. The scales measure "the room" of the instrument horn, musicaly presented by accents, high- and lownotes which mark the way of transformation between two different perspectives of it's room. The most natural perspective for this piece and this insrument is the overtone scale.
